DR. MIMIKO SHOULD REMAIN A NEUTRAL ELDER STATESMAN FOR THE SAKE OF ONDO STATE

I watched a video a few days ago where Dr. Olusegun Mimiko was advising Governor Aiyedatiwa to be more accommodative in governance and leadership.

Honestly, after watching the video, my personal opinion is that Dr. Mimiko, as an experienced leader and respected elder statesman, should remain neutral and focus more on the bigger picture — the peace, progress, unity, and future of Ondo State.

At this critical time, the people of Ondo State are expecting mature leadership, sincere governance, inclusiveness, accountability, and practical development that will improve the lives of the citizens.

Rather than taking sides politically, elder statesmen should help guide the state toward good governance, fairness, and responsible leadership. Ondo State needs constructive engagement, political maturity, and visionary direction from all stakeholders.

The focus should not be on personal interests or political camps, but on:

* Development
* Security
* Youth empowerment
* Infrastructure
* Education
* Healthcare
* Economic growth
* Unity among the people

As leaders and political stakeholders begin to look toward 2028, the people of Ondo State deserve competent, experienced, and people-oriented leadership that will move the state forward.

Many people have also continued to mention names like Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo as part of conversations about the future leadership of the state because of his visibility and contributions at the national level.

However, beyond personalities and politics, the most important thing should be the emergence of leadership that genuinely prioritizes the welfare of the people and the development of Ondo State.

Ondo State deserves peace.
Ondo State deserves progress.
Ondo State deserves good governance.

May wisdom guide all our leaders as they make decisions for the future of the state.
