I want to be honest about something at the end of today — because honesty is the thing that actually helps you, even when it is not what you hoped to hear.

Not every care worker in the UK has a pathway that leads to a registered nursing role within the transition window.

Some do — and those pathways are real and achievable and I have walked through them in detail today. But some do not — and pretending otherwise does not serve anyone.

If you do not hold a nursing qualification from your home country, if you do not have a degree, and if your care experience has been primarily in community or residential settings rather than acute clinical environments — your pathway to a registered NHS nursing role within the 2028 window is genuinely challenging.

That does not mean you are without options. It means your options require honest assessment, a realistic timeline, and a clear-eyed decision about whether the pathway is right for you at this stage of your life.

What I will not do is sell you a service that promises an outcome I cannot honestly deliver.

What I will do is tell you exactly where you stand, what your real options are, and what the genuine next step looks like — whatever that turns out to be.

If you are unsure which category you fall into — the direct pathway group, the Nursing Associate route group, the degree-holder non-clinical group, or the needs-more-time group — tell me your situation and I will give you an honest assessment.

No charge for clarity. That is just what I do.

💬 Not sure which pathway applies to you? DM me directly and tell me your situation. I will give you a straight answer.
