Happy is the man who has children.
Today's Children's Day is a pain in my heart. Today, as many families go out with their young ones to celebrate, I can see the Oyedeles, the Salamis, the Akanbis and others with tears in their eyes and a silent prayer looking towards the door of hope that their children will come back to them unharmed...
We live in Nigeria that protects the criminals( terrorists, kidnappers, abductors, killers etc) more than the innocent citizens. A Nigeria where Christiana Akanbi, Salami Sikiru and others including their teachers woke up one morning prepared for school only to be abducted by these the same terrorists that the government knows about but yet did nothing. Every now and then school children are abducted, some killed after a ransom is paid while some come out alive. Hmmm, it's so painful..
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, how long will you continue to sleep comfortably, aren't you hearing the cries of these children and their teachers? How many more abduction will make you swift into actions? How many more killings will make you declare war against these people? How many more Mr President? How many!!!
