Urgent Appeal from Nigerian Youths & Graduates Fix Education, Jobs, and Security Now 5/26/2026. Your Excellencies, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Mr. Peter Obi, Opposition Party Leaders, Independent Candidates, we write on behalf of millions of 240 million Nigerian youths and graduates — over 240 million Nigerians whose futures depend on the decisions you make today. For decades, we have been told to “go to school, get good grades, and build a better future.” But the reality on the ground tells a different story.

Across the 36 states and 774 LGAs, our schools are broken.
There is no light, no water, no security.
Since 1999, boko haram has killed our children, kidnapped students, and destroyed communities.

We struggle to pay university tuition.
We complete NYSC, yet it leads nowhere.
We apply for jobs endlessly through online portals that never respond.
We ask ourselves the same painful question every year for decades

Respectfully what is the point of going to school if there are no jobs, no safety, and no future?

Our demands as Nigerian youths and graduates now 5/26/2026
We are calling for urgent, practical reforms:

Abolish NYSC and JAMB — They no longer serve the needs of today’s Nigeria and have become a waste of time and resources.

Make education free — from primary school to PhD — across all 36 states and 774 LGAs now 5/26/2026

Rebuild the curriculum — Universities, polytechnics, and NCE institutions must teach real skills:

IT and technology

Manufacturing

Mechanics

Electrical work

Plumbing

Modern trades that create jobs

Create jobs before graduation — Students should have guaranteed pathways into employment, internships, and paid apprenticeships in the 36 states 774 LGA

Fix the root causes of boko haram — poverty, unemployment, lack of education, and government neglect

Provide the basic things you promised — Light, water, security, and affordable internet. Nigerians are still in darkness and poverty. Nigerian leaders do not promise what you cannot do be honest with 240 million Nigerians what you can and cannot do and why it cannot be done is it money or no will power

A Call for Unity
President Tinubu, Mr. Peter Obi, opposition parties, and independent candidates — Nigeria cannot be fixed by one person or one party. boko haram cannot be defeated by slogans or promises. We need unity, honesty, and action. No lies/no slogans

If you cannot work together to solve these problems, then step aside for leaders who will this is a humble request

Nigerian youths are tired of suffering.
We are tired of burying classmates, siblings, and friends.
We are tired of doing everything asked of us and receiving nothing in return.

Respectfully this is a plea, but also a demand with all due respect sir from a generation that has endured too much for decades
Fix the system now.
Fix education.
Fix security.
Fix the economy.
Fix the future.
