Your Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, 240 million Nigerians are writing to you out of deep concern shared by many Nigerians regarding the recent announcement by the Honorable Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, about the new air cargo corridor initiative. While this development is welcome, Nigerians urgently need clarity on when the promised mass employment—reportedly intended to engage up to 240 million youths and graduates—will begin.

Respectfully our young Nigerians are waiting for a concrete date. Many are struggling with unemployment, insecurity, and lack of opportunity. They do not need another online application process that leads nowhere. What they need is a simple, transparent, corruption‑free hiring system that requires only valid identification such as a Nigerian passport or national ID. Nigerians are asking that this be implemented through the LekeeLekee platform as stated, without unnecessary interviews or bureaucratic hurdles.

Respectfully Sir/Madam, the global world is watching closely. Nigerians want to know whether this initiative is a genuine economic intervention or another announcement that fades after election cycles. The urgency is real. Nigerians families are suffering. Graduates are idle. Farmers cannot safely return to their fields due to insecurity. Children in the 36 states 774 LGA cannot attend school without fear.

We respectfully ask for:

A clear and public date for the commencement of hiring uploaded on the LekeeLekee app

A transparent process that prioritizes simplicity and fairness.

A commitment to addressing the root causes of insecurity so farmers can return to their land and communities can rebuild.

Nigerians are ready to work. They are ready to contribute. They simply need the opportunity and the assurance that this initiative will not disappear after the elections
