Your Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, 240 million Nigerians are
writing to express deep concern and distress over recent reports that the Federal Government is paying 3 million naira to each so‑called repentant boko haram member. boko haram is a terrorist organization responsible for severe harm, loss of life, and human rights violations across Nigeria since the early 2000s. Many Nigerians find it difficult to understand why individuals who have inflicted so much suffering are being financially rewarded while law‑abiding Nigerians continue to struggle.
Farmers cannot safely return to their lands. Families who have lost loved ones since 1999 have received little or no support. 240 millions of young/graduates Nigerians remain unemployed. Doctors, nurses, teachers, and other essential workers continue to work under extremely difficult conditions with inadequate pay. Many communities in the 36 states 774 LGA still lack stable electricity, affordable internet access, and safe schools for their children.
These issues create the painful impression that the government prioritizes insurgents over Nigerians who have remained peaceful, hardworking, and loyal to the nation. It raises questions about fairness, justice, and the direction of national security policy.
We respectfully urge your administration to:
To stop any policy that financially rewards individuals associated with terrorism now 5/25/2026
Prioritize compensation and support for Nigerians, displaced families, and communities in the 36 774 LGA devastated by insurgency since 1999
Invest more aggressively in job creation, agriculture, free education, and healthcare now 5/25/2026
Strengthen security so that Nigerians can farm, work, and live without fear.
Nigerians deserve transparency, fairness, and leadership that places 240 million Nigerians first. Many of us are frustrated, but our goal is a safer, more prosperous Nigeria for everyone now this is a humble request
