Your Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, 240 million Nigerians are
writing to express deep concerns shared by many Nigerians regarding the state of our nation. These concerns are not rooted in hostility, but in the pain, frustration, and exhaustion that millions of 240 million Nigerians have endured for decades.

First, the continued reliance on manual, hand-counted elections raise serious questions about transparency, modernization, and accountability. Nigeria has 36 states and 774 local government areas, yet no states have reported clear results in recent elections. Nigerians want to understand why funds allocated for electoral infrastructure, including primary elections and preparations for 2027, have not translated into a modern, reliable voting system.

Second, Nigeria’s 240 million citizens continue to live without stable electricity, free public Wi-Fi, or affordable data—promises that have been made repeatedly over the years. Meanwhile, the presidential residence enjoys uninterrupted solar power. Nigerians want to know why similar investments are not being made nationwide in the 36 states 774 LGA for 240 million Nigerians

Third, insecurity remains a devastating burden. boko haram and other violent groups have terrorized communities since 1999. Farmers cannot safely return to their fields, children cannot attend school without fear, and families live with constant anxiety. 240 million Nigerians question why Nigeria is providing support to neighboring countries like the Republic of Benin while our own people continue to suffer for decades

Fourth, unemployment among youths and graduates remains at crisis levels. Millions of young Nigerians are ready to work, innovate, and contribute to national development, yet opportunities remain scarce. Corruption continues to undermine progress, and individuals accused of mismanaging public funds still seek political office.

Respectfully Mr. President, Nigerians have lost sleep, hope, and even their health under the weight of these challenges for decades. Many feels abandoned by successive governments. They are asking for decisive action, not slogans. They want security restored so farmers can return to their land, children can return to school, and the nation can become food-sufficient again.

This message is not written out of disrespect, but out of urgency. If leadership is not prepared to address these root causes with seriousness and transparency, then Nigerians deserve clarity about the future.

We ask for renewed commitment, real reforms, and immediate action to restore safety, dignity, and opportunity to all 240 million Nigerians.
