The Great Betrayal: Our Educated Elite Have Failed Us 🔥
My people, na this betrayal dey pain me pass...
We get PhD holders wey plenty pass pure water sachet for Lagos…wey still get time for ofofo and yeye yeye things… only to allow Africa still dey wobble like pikin wey never learn how to walk.
Our so-called educated elite, the ones wey go London…and sabi talk English through nose, Dem go America to sabi say “Ye Men” and China go take photos…only to come back to remind us say we be “bushmen”
Na dem betray us pass, Instead of becoming thinkers, dem turn themselves to glorified copy machines. Dem go abroad, collect certificate, come back and begin speak big big grammar wey no get solution inside. Dem go build big house with generator wey dey roar like peacock wey dey show feathers, while the same people wey dem suppose lead dey drink garri and groundnut under NEPA darkness.
The worst part?
Dem sabi all the problems…
Dem sabi when the problems starts…
Dem go fit tell you all the things wey cause am…
but dem no go everly offer you the solutions…
Abi dem no get the liver to solve am...
Dem go write thesis on corruption, yet na dem dey lead the corruption championship.
Dem go quote Fanon, Nkrumah, and Soyinka for conference, chop per diem, laugh, take picture, then go back to their old ways like say nothing happen.
This na the highest betrayal!
Our educated class, instead of being the light, don become the thickest part of the darkness. Dem dey use their brain to maintain the same rotten system wey dey kill us, instead of dismantling it. Dem prefer to be "big man" than to be great ancestors.
Africa is not suffering because we lack intelligent people.
Africa is suffering because our intelligent people have surrendered to mental indolence… laziness of the mind.
Dem get certificate but no get courage.
Dem get knowledge but no get character.
Dem get exposure but no get vision.
Wake up!
You wey get brain, stop dey use am to impress oyinbo and impress your village people. Stop dey collect contract to build road wey go wash commot after first rain.
Stop dey write useless policy wey no fit save one pikin from kwashiorkor.
The time of talking don pass.

This na the time of mental revolution!
To every African with sense, whether you dey inside country or for diaspora, wake up from this dangerous sleep!
Stop dey use your education to decorate oppression.
