Nigeria's Super Eagles kicked off their campaign to defend their Unity Cup title with a training session at the Cray Valley (PM) FC ground in South East London.

14 out of the 27 players invited trained under the supervision of the head coach, Eric Chelle, who has stressed that African football offers no easy fixtures, insisting that every opponent in the Africa Cup of Nations (#AFCON) qualifiers must be treated with full respect and focus.

"You cannot say there is a small team in Africa now,” he stated. “So you have to be focused on every game and every team. You have to do the job; this is not easy. Which game is easy in football right now?”

Nigeria, three-time African champions, will give their all to progress in the demanding qualification series.
