Your Excellencies President Tinubu, Leaders of Opposition Parties, Independent Candidates, INEC, the Judiciary, and the EFCC, 240 million Nigerians are writing to express deep concern shared by millions of Nigerians about the state of our democracy, our security, and the promises made to citizens who continue to live in hardship.

Nigeria has a population of over 240 million people, yet election results are still being hand‑counted. This is unacceptable in 2026. It is a global embarrassment that a nation with our resources and talent continues to rely on outdated, easily manipulated processes. INEC requested ₦873.78 billion for the 2027 election cycle, with ₦209.21 billion specifically allocated for technology, including result‑management systems. Nigerians deserve to know where this money is and why technology is not already deployed nationwide now 5/24/2026 in the 36 states 774 LGA

Respectfully sir 240 million Nigerians also remember the promises made in 2022 and 2023 about free electricity, free Wi‑Fi/data, and improved infrastructure. Today, Nigerians are still paying high electricity bills, still living in darkness, and still struggling with poverty. These unfulfilled commitments continue to erode public trust.

Meanwhile, boko haram and other violent groups have been killing Nigerians since 1999. For decades, families have lived in fear, farmers have abandoned their land, and children have been unable to attend school safely. Yet the political class appears more focused on elections than on protecting lives.

With all due respect sirs/madams if the President, the courts, INEC, and the EFCC fail to implement full technology‑based elections for all primaries and the 2027 general elections, the international community—including the United States, the United Kingdom, and others 195 countries—will inevitably raise concerns. 240 million Nigerians demand transparency, accountability, and modern systems that eliminate hand counting vote‑buying, intimidation, and manipulation.

We also demand that the EFCC and the courts recover mismanaged INEC funds, prosecute those responsible, and seize stolen assets and passports. Nigerians deserve justice.

Furthermore, it is troubling to hear claims of inflated voter numbers in party primaries. For example, the reported 10.9 million votes in the APC presidential primary raised serious questions about credibility. When numbers appear exaggerated, it undermines confidence in the entire democratic process.

Nigeria cannot continue on this path. No single president can stop the killings or rebuild the nation alone. You must work together—across party lines, across institutions, and across regions. If collaboration does not begin now, it will not magically appear in 2027.

240 million Nigerians want a country where our children can go to school safely, where farmers can return to their fields, and where agriculture can create jobs and ensure food security. We demand Nigeria to be where elections are free, fair, and credible.

We urge you to act now. The future of Nigeria depends on it.
