It's laughable to hear that President Tinubu supposedly got 10.9 million votes in the APC presidential primary. That number doesn't match what we usually see in party primaries in Nigeria, and it makes people question how transparent the process really was.

This feels like the APC setting the tone for what they plan to do in the “father of all elections” since Nigeria's independence. The purpose of a primary party is to select a candidate and show internal strength, but when the numbers look inflated, it creates doubt about the whole system.

Mark my words for the 2027 elections: I expect them to announce that Tinubu scored 27 million votes.

Go and mark today's date. If that happens, it will prove that the pattern of exaggerated results started long before the general election.
