26 years ago today, Lucy Pearl released their self-titled debut album.

The supergroup was composed of Raphael Saadiq (formerly of Tony! Toni! Toné!), Dawn Robinson (formerly of En Vogue), and Ali Shaheed Muhammad (formerly of A Tribe Called Quest). They delivered one of R&B's most beloved classics.
