Your Excellencies, Esteemed Nigerian government, opposition parties, independent candidates. 240 million Nigerians are writing to express deep concern about the state of accountability, transparency, and electoral integrity in Nigeria. This message reflects the frustration of millions of Nigerians who believe that our democracy cannot thrive when individuals under investigation for corruption continue to contest for public office.
Nigeria cannot move forward if politicians who have been investigated by the EFCC for serious financial crimes are still allowed to run for office. In 195 countries, such individuals would face prosecution, asset forfeiture, and restrictions on travel. Yet in Nigeria, they continue to seek power. This undermines public trust and sends a dangerous message that corruption has no consequences. No country is perfect Nigeria can do better
Respectfully if our institutions — the EFCC, the courts, and the executive — fail to enforce accountability, the international community will inevitably take notice and do the needful for them. Countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, and others have the authority to impose sanctions, revoke visas, freeze assets, and restrict global financial access for individuals who undermine democracy or steal public funds. No nation can shield corrupt actors from global scrutiny. No country is perfect Nigerian government do the needful this is a humble request
Nigeria has 36 states and 774 local government areas, yet 240 million Nigerians still lack basic services such as free electricity and free internet access that was promised decades ago. Elections are still counted by hand, a process that is vulnerable to manipulation and does not reflect the technological standards of the modern world.
In 2022 and 2023, promises were made regarding improved free electricity supply and free public Wi-Fi/data access. Today 5/23/2026, Nigerians continue to pay high electricity bills while living in darkness, and digital access remains out of reach for 240 million Nigerians
Respectfully sirs we urgently call for:
Deployment of AI-powered CCTV cameras across all 36 states and 774 LGAs now 5/23/2026
Real-time electronic transmission of election results
A transparent, tamper-proof digital voting and counting system
Strict enforcement of anti-corruption laws to prevent indicted individuals from contesting elections
The world is watching Nigeria. Hand-counted elections in 2026 are not only outdated but also damaging to our global reputation. A nation of over 240 million Nigerians deserves a modern, credible, and transparent electoral system.
If we cannot conduct free and fair primaries without allegations of manipulation, how can we assure Nigerians and the world that the 2027 general elections will be credible?
Nigeria must rise above the cycle of corruption, vote-buying, and impunity. Respectfully we urge all leaders, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, opposition parties, independent candidates, and the judiciary, to take decisive action now.
The future of our children and grandchildren depends on the choices made today 5/23/2026. You can vote for any party you like that`s your choice make sure you tell your children why they been killed every day in their country of birth, cannot go school and come back home safely without fear kindly do not lie to the children vote wisely their future depends on your vote do not sell your soul for rice/beans.
