JONATHAN IN PDP AGAIN? OR A STRATEGIC DISTRACTION?

If Goodluck Jonathan returns under PDP, the biggest question may not be whether he can win.
The real question is: Who benefits from his return?

Because in Nigerian politics, not every candidacy is designed to capture power.

Some are designed to divide votes. Some are designed to weaken momentum. And some are designed to protect existing structures.
Peter Obi’s strongest political weapon is emotional support from frustrated Nigerians.
But if Jonathan enters the race, especially as a familiar southern Christian face, the opposition vote could split.

And when opposition votes divide, the ruling structure usually smiles.

So Nigerians must ask carefully:
Is Jonathan truly returning to challenge APC…
or unknowingly helping APC survive another election?

In Nigerian politics, the most dangerous strategy is not always attack.

Sometimes… it is distraction.
