A lady recently shared the reason behind her breakup with her boyfriend, and her story has sparked mixed reactions online.

To her surprise, the boyfriend questioned why she was spending such a huge amount on her birthday in the first place. He also told her bluntly that he didn’t have the money to give her. His response left her dis4ppointed and 4ngry.

Feeling unsupported and undervalued, she immediately ended the relationship. She claimed she could no longer date a man who couldn’t give her ₦500,000 when she needed it.

According to her, a man who truly loves and values her should be able and willing to meet such needs without hesitation.

Many people have since cr¡t¡cized her expectations, arguing that her demands were materialistic, while others believe everyone is entitled to set their own standards in a relationship.
