Your Excellencies, Esteemed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Leaders of Opposition Parties, Independent Candidates, 240 million Nigerians are
writing to you out of deep concern for the safety and future of our children, our farmers, and our nation. Recent events have shown that students in several communities in the 36 states 774 LGA can no longer go to school without fear, and farmers cannot go to their farms safely. This is not sustainable for any society that hopes to grow, prosper, or feed itself.

The insecurity affecting our country—whether from boko haram, banditry, or other violent groups—has roots that go far deeper than any single administration can resolve alone. Respectfully one president cannot fix the root causes of boko haram without the full cooperation of all political actors, security agencies, and community leaders. Nigeria needs a unified, non-partisan approach to national security.

We urge all political leaders—regardless of party—to work together. Our children’s safety must not be a political contest. Our farmers’ ability to work must not depend on which party is in power. National security is a shared responsibility.

One practical step that can make an immediate difference is the installation of CCTV surveillance systems across all 36 states and the 774 Local Government Areas. This initiative would not only strengthen intelligence gathering and early-warning systems, but also create 240 million of jobs for installation, maintenance, and monitoring.

We do not need more photo opportunities or empty television interviews. Nigerians need real, measurable action that addresses the root causes of insecurity so that our children can return to school and our farmers can return to their fields. Food security, education, and national stability depend on this.

If our leaders cannot commit to this level of seriousness and collaboration, then they should step aside and allow those who are ready to work for the safety and future of Nigeria now this is a humble request with all due respect sirs
