Your Excellencies, Distinguished Leaders, and Respected Institutions, 240 million Nigerians are writing to express deep concern about the state of Nigeria’s electoral process, particularly the inability to conduct free, fair, transparent, and technologically reliable primary elections in a nation of over 240 million people. The global community is watching, and many Nigerians feel embarrassed and frustrated by the recurring failures that undermine public trust for decades

Nigerian government should not have 240 million Nigerians standing in long queues, fighting, or facing intimidation simply to participate in a democratic process. This is a global disgrace for a country with our population, talent, and resources.

A major point of concern is the continued absence of mandatory real-time electronic transmission of results. The Senate rejected legislation that would have required real-time transmission, leaving INEC with the option—but not the obligation—to transmit results electronically. This gap continues to fuel suspicion, conflict, and allegations of manipulation.

Nigerians deserve clarity on the funds allocated for real-time transmission infrastructure. If these funds were mismanaged or diverted, the EFCC must recover them immediately so that the necessary systems can be built without delay now 5/22/2026

The Nigerian Courts & judiciary has a critical role to play respectfully. We urge the courts to mandate real-time electronic transmission of results across all 36 states and 774 local government areas now 5/22/2026 respectfully. Hand counting and opaque collation processes must end if Nigeria now 5/22/2026 is to restore credibility in its elections.

We also call on the minister of power to address the persistent lack of electricity and digital access. Nigerians deserve reliable power and free public Wi-Fi or data access across all the 36 states and 777LGAs. These are essential tools for transparency, education, and economic growth.

Furthermore, we demand an end to intimidation by political thugs, security agencies, and other actors during elections. Nigerians must be able to vote without fear.

Finally, the ongoing insecurity—including boko haram attacks and widespread killings—must be addressed with urgency now 5/22/2026. 240 million Nigerians cannot participate meaningfully in democracy when their safety is not guaranteed.

If political leaders, INEC, and the National Assembly cannot deliver real-time transmission, transparency, and security, then they have failed in their duty to the 240 million Nigerians respectfully

Nigeria deserves better. The world is watching kindly do the needful this is a humble request
