Olakunle Nafiu has advised parents to provide adequate transport fare for prospective corps members travelling to orientation camps, warning that insufficient funds could expose them to security risks.

Speaking in Abuja, the National Youth Service Corps boss urged corps members to avoid night travel and break their journeys when it gets late to reduce risks such as kidnapping and other dangers.

He added that the NYSC is working with security agencies to ensure safer travel routes and also warned corps members against fraudsters promising special postings.
