I was chilling at the beach yesterday when it suddenly hit me that these slippers have been with me since my first visit to Thailand 4 years ago. And apart from the one winter I spent in Nepal, I’ve basically worn them every single day. Now, 4 years later, I’m back in Thailand, and it feels like such a full-circle moment.

These slippers have joined me on every trip since I got them, and together we’ve travelled through more than 10 countries. We’ve snorkelled, swam, hiked through mountains and deserts, trekked, ran, done motorbike trips, and even danced Salsa and Bachata!! They were there when I received the worst news. Through heartbreaks. Through moments when life was handing me a truckload of lemons. They were there for the happy news too, for the moments I fell in love (multiple times… but that’s a whole different story 😄). And somehow, after 4 years of wild adventures, they’re still going strong.

We often forget to appreciate what we already have because we’re too busy craving more. This is your reminder to take a step back and be grateful for the things that quietly make your life richer, easier, and more meaningful every single day.

Sometimes, it’s the simplest things that end up carrying the biggest stories. 🩴🌍
