Respectfully so why haven’t President Tinubu, opposition parties, independent candidates or others stopped the killings of 240 million Nigerians daily because they don’t care about the lives of 240 million Nigerians killed every day by boko haram since 1999
The system rewards political survival, not security performance.
Security agencies are weak, fragmented, and politicized.
Election cycles dominate national attention every 2–3 years.
Violence has become normalized, making it less politically costly to ignore.
No administration since 1999 has built a long‑term security architecture capable of reducing violence sustainably.
In short, the structure of Nigerian politics prioritizes 2027 over saving 240 million Nigerian lives today.
