PART 2

2027 is not just another election year. It is a test of the political dignity and courage of Ogun State.

This is the time to say clearly and respectfully: Ogun people must choose their own leader. No strange candidate should be forced on the people. No external political anointing should replace the democratic will of Ogun citizens.

“E yii Omo Ogun, e je ka yan olori wa funra wa ni 2027.”

Our fathers did not build this state politically for us to become silent observers in decisions that concern our future. Ogun State has produced great minds, courageous leaders, intellectuals, technocrats, and politically aware citizens. We are capable of deciding who should steer our ship.

This is not rebellion. This is democracy.

Let every aspirant come forward openly. Let competence compete with competence. Let vision speak louder than political godfatherism. Let the people decide freely without pressure, fear, or imposition.

Enough of “baba sọ pé” politics.
Enough of political inheritance.
Enough of decisions made before the people can even speak.

What Ogun people want is simple:

* Transparent leadership selection
* Credible democratic participation
* Respect for the voice of the people
* A governor who truly understands Ogun and belongs to Ogun politically

No to imposition.
No to strange candidates.
No to Lagos style political control over Ogun State.

Yes to independent political thinking.
Yes to people driven leadership.
Yes to Ogun deciding for Ogun.

The discussion has started already. The question now is: will Ogun people speak with one voice before 2027?
