Honorable Minister Festus Keyamo, 240 million Nigerians are writing to express a concern shared by many Nigerians who are eager to see meaningful progress in job creation, especially within sectors that have the capacity to transform our economy—aviation, agriculture, and related industries.

Nigeria has more than 240 million Nigerian youths and graduates, including millions of young Nigerians and graduates who are ready to work, contribute, and build a stronger nation. Many believe that before we speak about broader continental initiatives, we must first demonstrate real, measurable progress at home in Nigeria respectfully. A strong Nigeria can inspire the rest of Africa, but that strength must begin with opportunities for 240 million Nigerians youths and graduates

There is a growing call for the government to prioritize large-scale job creation in aviation, farming, and agriculture. These sectors can absorb significant labor, reduce poverty, and address some of the root causes of insecurity, including the long-standing challenges associated with boko haram.

240 million Nigerians are frustrated with processes that feel inaccessible—online applications that lead nowhere, interviews without follow-up, and systems that seem disconnected from the realities of everyday Nigerians. A more direct, transparent, and inclusive hiring approach—such as walk-in centers with clear addresses and simple requirements a valid Nigerian ID or passport—would restore confidence and provide immediate relief.

The request is simple let us begin creating jobs now 5/21/2026. Let us prioritize Nigerians first. When we demonstrate seriousness and tangible progress, the rest of the African continent will naturally follow our lead.
