Your Excellencies to the Office of the Nigerian Government, Opposition parties, independent candidates. 240 million Nigerians are writing to express a clear and urgent position regarding the repatriation of individuals to Nigeria. Nigeria must accept only Nigerian citizens who are being deported back to their country of origin. Respectfully under no circumstances should Nigeria receive deportees from other African countries or any other region who are not Nigerian nationals.

Nigeria continues to face severe internal security challenges. boko haram and other violent groups have been killing Nigerians from 1999 through 2026, and the situation remains deeply painful for 240 million Nigerians. Nigeria is already struggling to protect its own people and adding non‑Nigerian deportees to this burden would only worsen the security and humanitarian crisis.

240 million Nigerians feel that political leaders, across parties and independent platforms, have not addressed the root causes of insecurity for decades. Instead of focusing on immediate solutions to stop the daily killings, public discourse often shifts to media appearances and discussions about future elections. Nigerians are dying now, and the priority must be saving Nigerian lives today 5/21/2026

If any political leader cannot contribute to stopping the violence and protecting Nigerians in the present, then they should step aside and allow others who are ready to act to take responsibility respectfully.

Nigeria must remain firm only Nigerian citizens should be repatriated to Nigeria. The safety and stability of the nation depend on it.
