Your Excellencies, Esteemed Nigerian Government Leaders, Opposition Parties, and Independent Candidates, 240 million Nigerians are
writing out of deep concern for the safety of Nigerians across all 36 states and the 774 local government areas. Recent tragedies, including the heartbreaking incident in Gombe State where a female police officer and a pedestrian lost their lives due to a truck losing control, highlight a painful truth: our roads, vehicles, and systems are not safe enough.

This is not just about one accident. It is about the root causes—vehicle safety, enforcement of road regulations, proper maintenance, and accountability. Nigerians deserve to know how safe the cars and trucks on our roads truly are, and what steps are being taken to prevent these avoidable losses.

Leadership is not about making promises for the first 100 days or offering unrealistic dreams. It is about valuing 240 million Nigerian lives, protecting families, and ensuring that tragedies like this do not continue. We need leaders who are serious about fixing problems, not those who make empty promises respectfully

We ask for:

Stronger vehicle safety checks and enforcement.

Proper investigation and prevention of brake failures and route violations.

Support for affected families, including medical care, hospital support, and dignified burials.

A real, sustained effort to address insecurity, including boko haram, whose violence has displaced farmers and disrupted food production since 1999

Policies that allow Nigerians to return to farming so the nation can be food sufficient now 5/20/2026

An end to temporary handouts like rice and beans, and instead long-term solutions that restore dignity respectfully

Access to quality free education for all Nigerian children in the 36 states 774 LGA

Reliable free electricity and affordable or free internet access to support learning, business, and innovation in the 36 states 774LGA

Nigeria has over 240 million Nigerians who want safety, stability, and opportunity. We need leaders who are ready to work, not just talk.
