Your Excellencies, Esteemed President Tinubu, Leaders of Opposition Parties, and Independent Public Office Holders, Nigerian Police 240 million Nigerians are writing to express deep concern about the tragic incident in Port Harcourt in which a learner driver crashed into a family home and killed three innocent children. This heartbreaking loss has shaken many Nigerians, and it is essential that this case receives a full, transparent, and uncompromised investigation by the Nigerian Police and the courts.

The mother of these children deserves justice. While nothing can bring back the lives lost, the institutions responsible for public safety and justice must ensure that this case is not ignored or mishandled. No Nigerian should ever face intimidation or harm for speaking out, especially in moments of grief and public interest.

We respectfully urge the Nigerians government to:

Ensure a thorough and impartial investigation by the Nigerian Police.

Guarantee that the courts handle this case with full seriousness and transparency.

Provide support to the grieving mother, including housing, education, and healthcare assistance.

Cover the burial costs for the children as a gesture of compassion and responsibility.
