Nigerian music stars Tems, Wizkid, Asake, and Burna Boy are flying the country’s flag high after securing major nominations at the 2026 BET Awards.

Leading the Nigerian contingent is Tems with three nominations,
Wizkid and Asake also made history with a joint nomination in the Best Group category.

While Burna Boy earned a nomination for Best Collaboration for his feature on rapper Gunna’s hit single “WGFT.”

The BET Awards is scheduled for Sunday, June 28, 2026 in Los Angeles.
