After a nearly 20-year exile on Earth, Prince Adam is summoned back to his birthplace of Eternia. Upon his return, he discovers that his royal family has been overthrown and the realm has fallen under the fiendish grip of the evil Skeletor. To save his family and his world, Adam must embrace his true destiny, unlock the secrets of his past, and transform into He-Man, the most powerful man in the universe.

Along the way, he allies with loyal warriors Teela (Camila Mendes) and Duncan/Man-At-Arms (Idris Elba), and must use the magical Sword of Power to fight off Skeletor's evil warriors.
