APC Kano South: I Emerged from the Primaries as the Unopposed Candidate - Kawu

I may not be a consensus candidate, but I am unopposed — no one challenged my candidacy in the APC. Lawmakers in any democracy are at a disadvantage because, unlike governors, we don’t control resources, party machinery, or structures. Most of our colleagues lose primaries not due to lack of capacity, but because of other factors like local arrangements, zoning, and overstaying in parliament.
