No matter your age, keep an eye on your blood pressure (BP).

A person's BP is usually highest in the mornings because that person is just waking up, and the body system is trying to start up, stimulating all the organs to work optimally.

Any BP reading of 140/90 above is high and unhealthy for the organs. If a person's BP is persistently up to 140/90 and above, that person has hypertension and needs to see a doctor.

There are lots of portable digital BP monitors available these days. You can purchase one at home and monitor your blood pressure. I recommend the Omron brand of BP monitor. Its readings are fairly reliable.

Irrespective of whether you have hypertension or not, keep an eye on your BP.

For those with hypertension, BP drugs are best taken in the morning for the above-mentioned reason, and because you don't want any drug affecting your sleep.

High blood pressure doesn't show on the face!
