When you talk about money, one of the first things people say is:

“People have not even eaten… and you’re talking about saving or investing?”

And honestly?
I understand.

When survival is the priority, wealth-building feels far away.

It’s hard to think about investing when you are worried about rent, food, school fees, transportation, and just making it through the month.

That is the reality for many people.

But maybe this is the mindset shift we also need to have:

Saving is not only for rich people.
Planning is not only for rich people.
Investing is not only for rich people.

Sometimes, it starts with small decisions.
Small discipline.
Small consistency.

Because if all we ever do is survive…
we may never create room to build.

And no—this is not about blaming people for struggling.
The economy is hard. Life is expensive.

But somewhere between survival and enjoyment,
there has to be intentionality.

Because the goal is not just to work forever…
the goal is to eventually create stability, options, and peace of mind.

Engagement:
What financial habit do you think is hardest to maintain in this economy?
