FEEDING MISTAKE TO AVOID IN POULTRY:
🐔 Abrupt Feed Transitions
One common feeding error in poultry production is switching birds directly from starter feed to finisher feed without a gradual transition. This sudden change can cause digestive stress, reduced feed intake, poor nutrient absorption, and even setbacks in growth performance.

🐔Recommended Practice:
Instead of switching abruptly, introduce the new feed gradually by mixing the two rations over a transition period:
For 3 days, feed a 50:50 mixture of starter feed and finisher feed.
After the transition period, switch completely to 100% finisher feed.
