The 7th edition of the prestigious and highly revered "Africa Illustrious Awards" is set to hold on June 6 in the Grand Ballroom, Lagos Continental Hotel.

Recognizing excellence, inspiring greatness, "The Africa Illustrious Awards" has been Africa's most prestigious recognition ceremony for over a decade.

According to the organisers, the event will assemble some of Africa’s brightest minds and most respected figures whose contributions in business, innovation, entrepreneurship, academia, technology, philanthropy, leadership, and public service have continued to drive growth and development across the continent.

The event will also feature special recognition for the 1994 Nigeria national football team and the 1996 Nigeria Olympic football team for their historic achievements, which projected African football to global prominence and inspired millions across the continent.
