#Barcelona and Hansi Flick have reached an agreement to extend his contract until 30 June 2028 with the option for an additional season.

Hansi Flick was delighted with the confidence the Club has shown in him saying his goal is to "win more trophies." The German coach noted the stability of the sporting project at Barça and his good relationship with his team. With the fans, he said, "we have a great atmosphere" before adding that "we will give everything next season to fullfill the dreams we have."

If in his first season Hansi Flick brought hope back to the Barça fans, in the second he confirmed that the excitement was based on a reality. The German coach has built a competitive team faithful to the Club’s identity, capable of dominating the domestic game and retaking its place amongst the European elite.

In two seasons as Barça coach he has won five out of a possible eight trophies: two league titles, two Spanish Super Cups and a Copa del Rey. An impressive list of honours with a second consecutive league title recently season with a win over Real Madrid in the Clásico, one for the history books.
