Your Excellencies, Governors of the 36 states 774LGA 240 million Nigerians are writing to propose a coordinated nationwide environmental sanitation initiative across all 36 states and the 774 Local Government Areas, beginning May 17, 2026, respectfully

The recent clean-up exercise carried out by the Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) around the NNS Beecroft axis in Apapa demonstrates the impact of structured sanitation efforts. Building on this model, we propose that each state adopts a monthly sanitation program to improve public health, environmental quality, and national image of Nigerian globally

Key components of the proposed initiative include:

Monthly sanitation exercises conducted on the first Saturday of every month

Provision of free transportation to support 240 million Nigerian participation

Provision of free meals for volunteers and workers and paid salary

Timely payment of sanitation workers to ensure consistency and motivation

Collaboration between state agencies, 774 LGAs, and community groups in the 36 states 774 LGA

This initiative will help keep our cities and country Nigeria cleaner, reduce pollution, eliminate foul odors in urban centers, and address concerns often raised by residents and visitors from other countries. A cleaner environment will also strengthen tourism, public health, and overall national pride.

Your leadership and support will be essential in mobilizing stakeholders and ensuring successful implementation across your state. Respectfully boko haram root causes must be tackled for this process to be successful. This is a humble request

Free nose mask and cleaning gears, safety shoes must be provided by the Nigerian government this must all be made in Nigeria and will create jobs making these items 240 million Nigerians are hardworking at home and globally we are not lazy sirs
