President Tinubu continues to borrow heavily from institutions like the World Bank, yet many Nigerians are still struggling daily with hunger, unemployment, inflation, poor electricity, and insecurity.
Borrowing is not entirely bad if the money is invested into productive sectors that can grow the economy, create jobs, improve infrastructure, and generate revenue for repayment. But when debts keep increasing without visible improvement in the living conditions of the people, citizens have every right to ask questions.
