You didn't fail the CBT because you're a bad nurse.

You failed it because nobody taught you how the NMC thinks.

The Computer Based Test is not an assessment of your clinical skills. It's a test of one thing: DO YOU UNDERSTAND HOW THE NMC CODE GOVERNS DECISION- MAKING IN THE UK?

Nurses who trained in other countries answer CBT questions from their home-country experience.

The NMC marks them wrong — not because they're incorrect clinically, but because they're using the wrong framework.

What I teach my clients is what I call the NMC Mindset: every scenario runs through the lens of Safeguarding, Medicines Management, and Accountability.

Understanding the difference between delegation and accountability alone can be the difference between a pass and a resit fee.

This is the shift that changes everything.
