I've seen nurses spend £300 on NMC fees — only to get rejected in the first week.
Here's the mistake nobody warns you about.
Before you touch the NMC portal, you need one document: your Ecctis Statement of Comparability.
Most international nurses skip this step. They assume their degree qualifies and jump straight into the application.
If your home-country qualification doesn't map to a UK BSc level, the NMC flags your application as incomplete — and you're back to square one, out of pocket and out of time.
The very first step in my Sovereign Registration Framework isn't the portal.
It's validation.
I make sure every client has their Ecctis equivalency confirmed before a single form is submitted.
This one move eliminates the delay that affects the majority of international applicants.
Your degree got you this far. Let's make sure the NMC sees it that way too.
💬 Not sure if your qualification maps correctly? Comment ECCTIS and I'll send you the 2026 verification guide.
