Politicians’ Spending On Vehicles And Office Furniture Outstrips What The Economy Can Sustain - Kunle

They are import-driven choices, from the best Toyota ranges, Range Rovers, to BMWs, yet they don’t even produce the tyres locally. And still, they borrow money to fund them. They run public offices with some of the most expensive cars and furniture in the world, yet these offices do not produce anything directly. These are the issues we must interrogate. We should be telling President Tinubu that it is time to cut costs and enforce moderation, because a minister in Nigeria does not need anything more than a pickup vehicle.
