What it would take to power 240 million Nigerians
Nigeria would need at least 30,000–50,000 MW of reliable power to give every Nigerians stable electricity.

Right now, the national grid delivers 3,500–4,500 MW on most days.

To give free electricity to 240 million Nigerians would need:

10,000× more solar capacity than the Aso Rock project

Nationwide transmission upgrades

Massive battery storage

Billions of dollars in investment

A functioning distribution system

What about free Wi‑Fi?
Free nationwide in the 36 states 774 LGA Wi‑Fi would require:

Tens of thousands of fiber backbones

Millions of Wi‑Fi access points

Billions of dollars in infrastructure

Continuous maintenance and bandwidth costs
