I'm a mother of two boys, and I have served more than 100 boys as a social worker in a rehabilitation centre for street-connected children.
My experience has taught me the importance of laying emphasis on training the boy child, the same way we train the girl child.
The boy child shouldn't be made to stomach every feelings, because he is not a girl.
He needs his parents' warmth as much as a girl child.
No, he is not weak when he cries, he is only being human.
Let's not neglect the training of a boy child, so he doesn't become a burden to that girl child you trained.
Behind everyone of these boys, is a story is waiting to be told.
