Your Excellencies, the African people in the 54 African continents we
extend our respectful greetings to you and to the people you serve. We are writing to appeal for a united, continent‑wide effort to establish visa‑free travel for all African citizens holding valid and verifiable African passports.

Africa is strongest when Africans can move, trade, collaborate, and innovate freely. A visa‑free framework across all 54 nations would strengthen our continental identity, deepen economic integration, and accelerate the goals of the African Continental Free Trade Area.

More importantly, it would help build a safer and more hopeful future for our children and grandchildren. Too many young Africans risk their lives crossing deserts, seas, and dangerous routes in search of opportunities abroad. A more open and interconnected Africa can reduce this tragic "japa" syndrome by creating opportunities within our own borders.

A coordinated visa‑free policy would:

Promote intra‑African trade, tourism, and investment

Strengthen regional cooperation and security through shared systems and verification tools

Encourage youth mobility for education, innovation, and entrepreneurship

Reinforce the vision of a peaceful, prosperous, and integrated Africa

We respectfully urge all African leaders to work together to make this vision a reality. With modern biometric passports, digital verification systems, and collaborative security frameworks, we can ensure safe, orderly, and secure movement across the continent.

The future of Africa depends on bold, united action. A visa‑free Africa is not only possible—it is necessary.

With highest respect,
