Greetings to Leaders of Nigeria, opposition parties, independent candidates. 240 million Nigerians are writing to you out of deep concern for the direction of our nation and the urgent need for genuine leadership. Nigerians are tired—tired of empty promises, tired of political fights over money, tired of rice and beans handouts that insult the dignity of 240 million Nigerians
If you are truly serious about rebuilding this country, then the path forward is clear: invest in farming and agriculture, work together across party lines, and stop distracting the nation with internal battles over power and sharing formulas. These fights do nothing but weaken the country and deepen suffering.
The real work is in the 36 states and the 774 local government areas. That is where poverty lives, where insecurity grows, and where the root causes of boko haram and other crises must be addressed. No federal promise can succeed without collaboration at the state and local levels.
Stop talking about 2027 re-election campaigns. Nigerians do not want to hear new promises about what you will do "in your first 100 days" or claims that you will "only do four years." These statements ring hollow when the present reality remains unchanged.
If you truly care about the lives of 240 million Nigerians, then demonstrate it now 5/14/2026—through action, not speeches. Work with governors, empower local governments, rebuild agriculture, and restore security. If you do not intend to serve 240 million Nigerians with sincerity, then step aside and do not return respectfully
Nigeria deserves leaders who rise above the politics of food sharing and embrace merit-based governance, accountability, and long-term development.
Faithfully,
Concerned 240 million Nigerians suffering in poverty & darkness
