2027 PRESIDENCY: ROWDY SCENE AS ATIKU RETURNS FORM

There was commotion on Thursday at the national secretariat of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Abuja as former President Atiku Abubakar submitted his Expression of Interest and Nomination forms to contest the Presidential election in 2027.

Atiku's loyalists and supporters arrived the ADC secretariat earlier and made desperate moves to enter the Hall.

They overpowered the fierce-looking bouncers and security personnel and, in the process, destroyed the doors of the room.

This paved way for them and they rushed in like a swarm of bees pushing away journalists and other guests.

Efforts by journalists to speak with Atiku proved unsuccessful even after laying ambush for him.

He was said to have left through the underground basement leaving journalists stranded and disappointed.
