Greetings NDLEA Leadership, 240 million Nigerians are writing to express deep concern regarding the recent incident in Bakassi, where an NDLEA operation reportedly escalated into a mob attack, resulting in a young boy being struck by a stray bullet. This is a deeply troubling event, and it demands immediate and transparent investigation.

The injury of an innocent child is unacceptable under any circumstances. An apology alone is not enough. The family of the boy must be fully supported, and no hospital bills or related expenses should fall on them. They deserve compassion, accountability, and concrete action.

For decades, 240 million Nigerians have been calling on both past and present governments, as well as opposition parties and independent leaders, to prioritize the welfare of Nigerians. We continue to demand:

The construction of new, fully equipped, free public hospitals in all 36 states and 774 local government areas.

Free 24/7 365 days electricity and free Wi-Fi/data access for all 36 states 774 LGA

Adequate salaries, housing, and healthcare for doctors, nurses, and all medical staff.

Quality free education for every Nigerian child in the 36 states 774 LGA

A stronger, more strategic approach to addressing the threat of boko haram, a violent extremist organization responsible for severe harm and human rights violations for decades with no accountability

Instead of innocent Nigerian children being harmed, we need systems that protect them. This incident should be a turning point.

We urge the NDLEA to take swift action: investigate thoroughly, support the affected family, and implement measures to prevent such tragedies from happening again. This is a humble request

Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter.
