Your Excellencies, Distinguished Leaders of Opposition Parties, and Independent Candidates, 240 million Nigerians are writing to you out of deep concern for the safety and well‑being of the 240 million Nigerians whose lives depend on the decisions and priorities of those who seek to lead or influence our nation.
This morning, on my way to the office, I witnessed a heartbreaking scene: a man lying lifeless beside a damaged keke (tricycle), a victim of a road accident. He left his home with the simple hope of feeding his family, unaware that it would be his last day on earth. May his soul rest in peace, and may God comfort his family.
Incidents like this are not isolated. They are symptoms of deeper systemic failures that demand urgent, practical, and non‑political solutions.
We are calling on all of you—regardless of party, ambition, or political alignment—to prioritize the following actions:
Nationwide CCTV Deployment: Nigeria urgently needs CCTV cameras installed across all 36 states and the 774 Local Government Areas. This will allow Nigerians to report hit‑and‑run incidents, crime, and emergencies quickly and accurately, enabling faster police response and saving countless lives. Nigerians can receive alerts on 240 million cell phones there are tools used globally Nigeria can do the same this is a humble request
Collaboration With Governors in the 36 states and 774 LGAs: You do not need to be President to drive this initiative. Work with state governors and local government chairmen to ensure CCTV infrastructure becomes a national standard, not a campaign promise. The building of the construction and infrastructures will create 240 million jobs for Nigerian youths and graduates
Focus on Solutions, Not Campaign Noise: Nigerians are tired of expensive campaigns, endless TV interviews, and political drama that do nothing to solve real problems. Our tax money should not be wasted on rhetoric when practical solutions are within reach.
Address Root Causes of Insecurity: Groups like boko haram—responsible for severe harm, loss of life, and human rights violations—thrive where governance and infrastructure fail. Fixing root causes will allow millions of Nigerians to return to farming and rebuild our food security and be food sufficient we reject rice/beans handouts
Build Overhead Pedestrian Bridges: No Nigerian should have to cross dangerous highways on foot. Overhead bridges must be standard infrastructure across the country to prevent avoidable deaths.
These are not political issues—they are human issues. Leadership is not about holding office; it is about taking responsibility. If you truly care about the lives of Nigerians, these actions can begin immediately now 5/14/2026
If, however, you are not serious about protecting the 240 million Nigerians you seek to represent, then it is better not to return making promises that never translate into action respectfully
Nigeria deserves leaders who act, not leaders who talk.
Faithfully,
Concerned 240 million Nigerians demanding leaders that actions speaks louder than words with all due respect sirs
