Nigeria’s gross external reserves declined by US$874m month-on-month (MoM) to US$48.4bn as at the end of April 2026, according to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) latest data on external reserves. The decrease represents the second consecutive decline, after eight consecutive months of reserve accretion.
