1. Spending more than what you earn.
2. Lack of financial planning or budget.
3. Not tracking your expenses.
4. Impulsive buying.
5. Buying what you can not afford in order to fit in or impress others.
6. Carrying more financial responsibilities above your capacity in the extended family, among friends, church, mosque, and society at large.
7. Not preparing for necessities like rent, school fees, child delivery, and so on.
8. Excessive borrowing, especially to finance fake lifestyle.
9. Never loan out money you can not forgo when the chips are down.
10. Not having some contingency funds as savings against the rainy days.
11. Investing in spurious schemes with promises of unrealistic returns..... please shine your eyes.
