A unified national security strategy
Not party vs. party — Nigeria first.

Intelligence-driven counterterrorism
Not just soldiers — but:

Border control

Financial tracking

Community intelligence

Cutting off extremist funding

Economic development in the North

Jobs defeat terrorism more effectively than bullets.

Police reform now 5/13/2026
Nigeria’s police are underfunded, undertrained, and overstretched.

Local community partnerships villages know the terrain better than the military.

Regional cooperation boko haram operates across borders — so Nigeria must work with Niger, Chad, and Cameroon.

What IMF/World Bank can realistically do
They can:

Cancel or restructure debt

Provide development grants

Fund education, jobs, and infrastructure

Support anti-corruption reforms

Invest in renewable energy and agriculture

Strengthen governance institutions
