Reintegrating “repentant terrorists” without proper justice is unfair to victims and dangerous to society. Many innocent people lost their lives, homes, and families because of terrorism. Rewarding terrorists with rehabilitation while victims still suffer sends the wrong message.

The government of Nigeria should focus first on justice, security, and supporting victims, not rushing terrorists back into communities. True peace comes from accountability, not silence.

Not everyone who claims repentance has truly changed. The safety of citizens must always come first.
