Driver Allegedly Murders Cleric Employer, Flees with SUV

Police operatives in Anambra State have arrested the personal driver of a Pentecostal bishop in Asaba, Delta State, over the alleged murder of his employer and theft of the cleric’s Toyota Prado Jeep.

According to the Commissioner of Police, Ikioye Orutugu, the suspect was arrested alongside another individual in Nkpor, Anambra State, while allegedly attempting to sell the stolen vehicle.

The CP said the arrest followed a swift intelligence-led operation by operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS), Awkuzu, who tracked and recovered the vehicle.
